Enrich — ask AI about any passage (Pro)
- Highlight a passage and click Enrich to ask a quick question about it, answered right on the page.
- One-tap prompts: Explain simply, Why does it matter?, Add context.
- Turn an answer into an anchored conversation, pre-filled with your question.
New
Anchored conversations & @-mentions
- Start a conversation on the exact passage you highlighted — it floats right beside the text and follows it as you scroll.
- The on-page pill lists every conversation happening on a page, so you can jump into any of them.
- Pull people into a thread with @-mentions, and see when you're mentioned in your feed.
New
Subscription recognition & getting a friend's read
- Annotate recognizes the paywalled sites you can read, so friends who hit that paywall can ask you for a read.
- See and manage everything in Settings → Your subscriptions, including sites you've hit but don't have access to.
- When a friend can read a page you're walled out of, the paywall pill now leads with them and highlights the Ask button.
Improved
A calmer, clearer on-page toolbar
- Highlight and note are now a single “Annotate” action — a note is just a highlight with words.
- The selection toolbar matches the rest of the product, and stays off age-restricted sites by default.

New
Shareable highlights & a reading-first library
- Share any highlight with a clean, mobile-friendly public page.
- Your library is organized by smart folders that group saves by topic.
- Followers-visible notes: choose, per note, whether the people who follow you can see it.
