How Annotate recognizes your subscriptions

When you read a paywalled site you have access to, Annotate can remember it, so friends who hit that paywall can ask you for a read. There are two ways it's recognized, both under your control:
- You act on a paywalled page you can read — highlight, bookmark, or summarize it.
- Auto-detect is on (the default) and you simply open a paywalled page you can read.
We never record this from just browsing. It only happens on paywalled sites you can actually read, and only the site name is stored — never the article, and never your account or password.
Manage everything in Settings → Your subscriptions.
